that purple’d out Cube

Can’t beat some purple staggered sized Work Emotions xd9 on a white Cube! This is owned by user “Sug4rCube” on NissanCubeLife.com forums. I like the way he kept the purple theme going with the wheels, the exhaust tip, and the sweet fixed gear bike on the rack.

I mean check out that exhaust tip, awesome right? The camber is right on in the rear. Wheel offsets are kept secret, but the wheels sizes are 17×8.5 in front and 17×9.5 in the rear. It is dropped down on some Tein coilovers, that Bean Garage actually has on a great sale at the moment.

RWD, 2JZ equipped drift xB

This reminds me of the drift Honda Element, but much better on a couple different levels. This second gen xB by Rogue Status/DTA has been converted to rear wheel drive and has the 2JZ turbo engine from the Toyota Supra. Do I have your attention now? This car was raced in the 2010 GumBall 3000 race from London to New York. I love the fender flares and choice of wheel color on those Advans.

I hope this car isn’t old news to you all, but you can never get too much RWD xB.

C-One’d Yaris from Florida

After attending a few Sibling Rivalry shows in Jacksonville, FL, I kept seeing this Yaris pop up and couldn’t take my eyes off of it. It is sporting a full C-One body kit from Japan along with many other accessories in the engine bay from C-One such as strut bar and oil cap.

Very seldom do you see a US tuned Yaris like this, especially in Florida! The tail lights you see are JDM spec Vitz RS.

The interior is filled out nicely with a roll cage and matching Bride seats. This is a must have for a small car like this to whip around the corners.

The wheels are C-One spec Wed Sports SA-70 in 17×7.

The engine was modestly tuned with bolt on mods. This car is more about the handling aspect than straight line speed.

two Hawaiian boxes

Our friends at ForjWorks just did a photoshoot of a couple first gen xB’s equipped with their 5 degree and 5.5 degree camber kits. The Maroon xB is using the -5 degree kit, and the black one is using the -5.5 kit. They are both great examples of VIP style, with the low stance and high end wheels. Check out more pics below!

Prius OG tuning

Thanks to Gary who sent in these pics of his Japanese-style inspired Prius. You don’t see too many of the old Prius modified, and Gary looks like he is on the way to big things! He is currently searching for a JDM front lip/bumper to set off the front.

As with most cars, the choice of wheels makes all the difference. He went with Work RSZ-R wheels, a classic wheel that is not often applied to the hybrid market. It is also very lightweight to keep the Prius’ gas mileage high.

Nissan March Cup :: Japan

This is the Nissan March, basically their equivalent of a Toyota Yaris. Small, nimble, and light makes for a fun track car, especially when you are competing in a one-make race! We were able to witness one of these races prior to watching a Super Taikyu race in Suzuka years ago. They weren’t exactly the fastest comparing to larger races, but it is more about the drivers’ skill in this race. It is also a good gateway for drivers to make their name known in the racing world.

cube on volk te-37 MAG BLUE

This is schtebie’s JDM-ized Nissan Cube from NissanCubeLife.com. I was pretty floored to see a new Cube on the famous TE-37 Volk Racing wheel, especially in the rare Mag Blue finish. Specs are made for daily driving at 16×7 +42. He also has some other nice modifications, from Tanabe coilovers to ARC engine accessories. This proves again that TE-37 look good on any car!
