I really like this new Honda Fit with Takata Green wheels and a good stance.  It is hard to pull off colored wheels but I think this Fit does it swimmingly well.

It’s rare to see a Toyota Yaris tuned up, but this owner in Hawaii knows what’s up.  Perfect daily driver!

Nice stance on this xB and I like how monochromatic it is.  It definitely has a presence that sets it apart from other xB’s I have seen.

A lot of style going on here with rare JDM body pieces and painted BBS wheels.

One of the first things I noticed about this xB was the wheel studs that are poking out.  They look good on a set of baby blue widened steelies!

Lastly, I thought that the wheel fitment was right on with this tC.  Must be tough to drive this on the hills of San Fran!

I think that sub-compact tuning, as well as Hybrid car tuning, is still in its early stages of becoming the next big thing.

Why?

-Rising gas prices (small cars get good gas mileage)

-Relative low cost to own a sub-compact, factoring in regular maintenance, base purchasing price of the car, overall money spent on gasoline

-Small car = less resources to build = smaller carbon footprint (go green!)

-Sheer practicality of sub-compacts – easy to drive, park, even sleep in!

Chances are if you own a sub-compact, then you have a fun living spirit and a positive attitude on life.  You have all the style you need in your practical and hip small car and you know it.  It is really what you make of it, how you use what your blank canvas gives you to express yourself.

More and more car manufacturers are adding smaller cars to their lineup every year.  With the recent addition of the Nissan Cube to the American market, along with plans for the Mazda 2, Ford Fiesta, and continuing production of existing sub-compacts, it is clear that this segment is here to stay.  Hybrid tuning has been “the next trend” of Japanese tuning culture, with all of the big tuners known as mainly “fast car tuners” such as Top Secret, Tommy Kaira, and others focusing on the next market of modifying Hybrid cars for more of a visually appealing presence.  Some companies such as Five Axis, a company based in California, are catching on to the next trend with their lip kit for the Prius.

The Chronicles… is a great place for clean cars and super photography skills, as shown in these pics.  This was a bBsquad shoot from Vegas that came out amazing, as always.  The bBsquad is always good for making the next trends for xB owners with their stance and unique JDM modifications.  All of the rides in the crew are immaculate, all quality here!  Above is user “zerocool” sporting a Kenstyle lip kit and air suspension and a  RS 4.0 grille with custom a “TOYOTA” logo.

Another nice xB with widened steelies and two tone paint.  I like the aggressive look that the wheels add to the car, especially without breaking the bank on expensive wheels.  Also, check out the rear spoiler… Very cool and subtle.

I like the look on this box with leadsled wheels and with the bBsquad standard of suspension, air ride.  All of these cars are so slammed, but look the part.  Here’s another xB sporting a pretty cool rear spoiler.

Here’s a look that isn’t seen too often on this kind of car.  It is very sporty with the brand new Advan RS-D wheels, side mirrors, and lip kit, but also has a roof cargo compartment.  It is a practical but aggressive racer look that fits this xB very well.

Airbag suspension paired up with the Work Euroline wheels in low offset (+12 in rear!) makes for a great VIP stance.  Along with this is the Spirits “Avantgarde” full bodykit, exhaust, and wing.  He has done some custom work to the side mirrors as well, mounting LED turn signals from a Mercedes. 

The grille and Noblesse front bumper flow very nicely with the chrome details.  Note the turn signal side mirrors — a nice detail.  Can’t go wrong with the flush stance either…

The owner of this bB didn’t concentrate solely on the appearance of his car.  A few bolt-ons and a carbon fiber engine cover by C-One completes the whole package.

I’m digging this sport tuned bB on Volk Racing CE28N wheels and aero kit.  The smoked tails, gas cap, and door trim are cool details.

Here we see another application of side chrome trim on this LED’ed out bB.

Looking at this group pic, two VIP styled bB’s stuck out to me…First off is this Fabulous-kitted bB on what looks to be Work Euroline DH wheels.  You have to love the JDM  bB headlights!

With a very similar looking one right next to it.  Same kit, wheels.  Nice!

If you’re going to have a subwoofer box, why not upholster it in Cheetah print?

Couldn’t leave out this impressive interior.  That is some definite hard work!
