Update: new wheels for the Cube

The OG-JDM Cube is coming along, continuing to make the rounds in Southern California show circuits. Check it out in person at the last round of Formula D (Slammed Society) in Irwindale, CA.

The wheels we went with for the project are the XXR 002 in 16×7 +0 front and 16×8 +0 rear in Gloss Black.

We are pretty happy with the fitment. Might need to get a 10mm spacer in the front to flush it out, in addition to making the suspension a bit lower all around. The Megan Racing springs aren’t cutting it anymore!

The design in the wheels were also an attractor. We are going for an old school theme for the Cube and the step lips plus a staggered fitment really fit the bill. Also, the wheels were pretty well priced, so we had to pull the trigger!
